Ipod

Sigh, a few months ago I got an ipod and it is giving me lots of trouble. It worked ok, for a while, but now I keep getting writing errors, more and more of them. Reinstalled software, reinstalled everything, formatted the darned thing and it's still not working. I have spent so many hours on it today and it's annoying the heck out of me.

I guess I could call technical support, but I don't really want to do that at 2am.

Take the ipod back to the store you bought it at. I bought one that did the same thing about four months after I got it. Turns out there was a hardware glitch and they replaced it with a new one.

I actually got them at apple, so I guess returning it shouldn't be too hard. I'll have to call them.

Thanks!

Keith has returned three iPods. The original one, and two more that he was given in exchange via mail. Watch out for the send it in option they may offer. He had to pay $35 to use their shipper [DHL]. They first send you the empty cardboard mailer (yes like those boxes in your basement that FIT whatever came in them ;-)) We finally - after not turning it in in Germany -- note well you have 90 days limited warranty on the replacement unless you extend the warranty -- drove to SALEM, NH, the only Apple store in NH and he now has a 4th iPod. Luckily, we were on our way home from Maine as it was easier to do it then. The sales guy there said he's had a replacement one last two years.

Keith never dropped his or damaged it. What does this say about this product???!!!
