Decluttering

Tara has been very helpful lately. Yesterday, she decided to tackle one of our cabinets.

Before she started:

It's hard to see in the pictures, but every single shelf was totally filled with things, in such a way that it was near to impossible to find item X if you hadn't used it for a few months.

After she was done:

We got rid of so many things which were past the expiration date or not being used anyway. Now you can actually look in there and FIND things, it's amazing. Again, it's not a clear difference in the pictures, since you can't see all the space that's now available on every single shelf. It makes a tremendous difference.

In addition, she worked herself through at least 7 baskets of laundry to be folded and put away, wow!

The boys have been cleaning up the downstairs floors a lot, so that I often can actually see them. Amazing! Maybe some day we will have an organized household (stop laughing!)
