Gertrude

A long long time ago, we used to have Robert, our sourdough starter. We used him a lot till life happened and he got neglected. After many times of reviving him it was time to let him go.

 

A few weeks ago I finally caught a new sourdough starter. You know the wild yeast which is all around us. The same wild yeast which helps to create beer.

It went well and Gertrude was born!

 

Since then we have been eating sourdough bread, crumpets, sourdough scones, baguettes and all kinds of other goodies.
