And So It Starts

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 7 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Monday.

Snow will develop this evening and become heavier overnight. By morning... 3 to 5 inches of snow is expected.

Snow will mix with sleet during the day Monday with total snow and sleet ccumulations of 8 to 12 inches. The snow and sleet will end Monday evening.

Northeast winds will increase to 10 to 20 mph during the day Monday with gusts to 30 mph. This will cause some blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibilities. Gusty winds will continue Monday night.

I guess we are not going anywhere tomorrow. I now understand why bears hibernate, seems like not a bad idea.

The joys of living in New England.

I'm not sure if this being my last New England winter makes it easier or harder.

In any case, I am so not ready for a foot of snow.

I know you think I'm crazy, but I'd love to have some snow. Not having to deal with snow for 12 yrs might actually make you miss it sometimes, I guess;-) I'm originally from the northeast U.S. and still feel like it should snow this time of year. It's really weird to have 80 degrees in December, lol. Enjoy hibernating!

We had our first official snow of the season last night and in true NW Ohioan fashion drivers completely forgot how to drive in it and crashed into eachother.

It was only an inch of snow for cryin' out loud... If we were going to get any more than that God only knows what would have happened.

By the way, your kids are entirely too cute ;)
