Marshmallows

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am EST Saturday.

Snow will change to sleet and freezing rain this afternoon... and the freezing rain will continue into tonight.

As much as one-half inch of ice is expected after 1 to 3 inches of snow. The weight of the ice could result in downed tree limbs... which in turn could cause scattered power outages. Travel will become increasingly difficult this afternoon... and could be treacherous tonight.

Across the higher terrain... south to southwest winds may gust in excess of 35 mph at times... which could also result in ice laden trees limbs being downed. The precipitation will end later tonight as snow showers as colder air comes back into the region.

We did what every self respecting New Englander does before a snow storm. Run to the store! And get milk bread water batteries toilet paper marshmallows!

Marshmallows, and hot chocolate!! Don't forget some grahm crackers and Herseys for s'mores, might as well get some popcorn. Oh, the list of snack food is never ending for a snow storm!
