Wii Tales of Woe, episode 42

After last month's Wii fiasco, my kids have been haunting the local Gamestop, asking them over and over when the new shipment of Wii's would come in. Some people had reacted to that post, telling they might be able to get some locally (belated thanks, Jody and Merritt!) but after a lot of thought my kids decided that it couldn't be too long before we got one around here.

This week, the long awaited moment finally arrived. There was going to be a shipment of Wii's arriving on Friday. Calendars were being checked. Plans were being made. Chickens were being sacrificed.

This morning, Tim heroically went off on his quest. He took his katana and my cell phone and was ready to camp out at Gamestop till the Wii's arrived.

I am sure you can guess the rest of the tale. The shipment arrived a day early, which was yesterday. And yes, they had indeed immediately sold out. He checked some other local stores, but no luck.

Four months and counting! The joys of having to have the latest game system.

It happened again! :P We need patience when we really really want something but pass by it every time when we finally get a chance.

I didn't realize how hard it is to get your hands on one! Good luck next time!
