Throw Back Thursday: Votes for Women!

Facebook reminded me of the election two years ago, when Qate wasn't voting age yet, but she did feel strongly about it.

I thought this would be a good one to post for Throwback Thursday, especially since a record women of women got voted in in this last election!

Montana is super backwards yet we were the 2nd state to allow women to vote and had the first woman in federal office in 1916. Voting is so important.

Wow, I never realised that some states were ahead of the federal level. I am originally from the Netherlands and we got it in 1919 over there . I always felt "proud" that that was sooner than the USA. Now it turns out that you guys were way ahead of us in Montana! Very cool .
