Fall Foliage Favorites!

Sharing some of my favorite fall foliage photos.

Beautiful red maple leaves

The first one is right in our front yard, showing off the maple tree where Sylvia was born.

A picture with the Hood Museum of art and a rainbow
Rainbow at Dartmouth College
This was am October day a few years ago and we were happy to see this glorious rainbow at the Hood Museum of Art. I love the architecture of the tower and the trees are starting to turn.

Random beautiful tree

Sometimes just one tree will take your breath away with her brilliance.

Fall colored tree reflectin in water with tumble weed in the foreground

I have lots of great pictures from geocaching, since we spent so much time hiking before the winter would set in. I still remember the sense of urgency of getting just one more cache this week!

Tree geese in water with fall foliage reflections

No post would be complete without birds, in this case Canada geese on their way South. They clearly are smarter than the average person like me, who stays in New Hampshire :D

Burlington Vermont, fall foliage

And here we have Dawn and Jane when Dawn was still a freshman at UVM in Burlington Vermont and we were on our way to her white coat ceremony. Four years later she has graduated and now works ars an RN in a local hospital.

So many good fall memories! Go find out where you too can find the best fall foliage in New England.
