Who wants to go to bed when you can play with chalk?

 

I love our neighborhood. We have one car every two hours on a busy day.

 

So the kids can make street art and play on the street as much as they want.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Awesome Mother's Day!

My kids so totally rock! They gave me the best mother's day ever!

 

Jane cleaned the cat's litterbox, Kate made pancakes.

 

They all pitched in together for chocolate and

 

One of those cool Galileo thermometers!

 

Sylvia made 'flowers' at school and Dawn made me a bouquet of flowers from the yard.

 

Erik made me a wooden knife, very cool.

 

And Sylvia had a ring printed on a 3D printer! a ring stating '#1 mom' that must be me, right? ^^

 

It was low key but perfect mother's day, lots of love, good food, and the most awesome kids EVUH!

 

I felt very pampered, I love all my kids! Thank you Cees, Tim, Dawn, Jane, Qate, Erik and Sylvia for a wonderful day!

Random Spring Pictures

It finally feels like spring, at least during the day. It still is pretty darned cold at night, so I haven't planted much in the garden yet.

 

I always make sure to have tulips and daffodils otherwise it doesn't feel like spring.

 

These are my plum trees, which didn't give us a lot of plums last year, let's hope that this year is better!

 

 

 

 

I planted some tomatoes in containers so that I can take them in when it gets too cold at night. The danger for frost at night is not over yet.

 

Fairy House Magic

 

My kids love making fairy houses!

 

The stone wall in our back yard is the perfect place to do so.
