As you can imagine, this is a very popular activity, especially since they have to make sure all the candy tastes good.
Then on New Year's Day we SMASH the whole house and eat the house and the candy. One of our family traditions ^^
The kids never realized it was just our family who did this until they asked their friends whether they were going to smash their gingerbread house and the friends would look at them with a very puzzled look.
