LOL... THOSE the size zucchini's I made all my apple pie filling from last year and the year before.
The smaller sized vegetables still have a 'zucchini' taste and I use olive oil to grill or cook them or make into a casserole but when they get this big (and bigger) they tend to lose almost all taste so I cut them up to look like apples and use them for the zapple pies and zapple crisp!
mmm... dromen van mijn courgette-paprika-roomsaus op pasta... mmmm.. met parmezaans kaas.. nog meer mmmm.... ;-)
