Too tired to do more than post a few pictures. Y'all can make up a story to go with it. Be sure to include a wet Erik.

Oh, and we found seven caches, which is not bad for a Sunday afternoon.

The adventures of a fun loving family with many kids. Our household is never boring.
This link was broken, in the process of fixing it.
In my spare time , that is.

Karen, when I grow up I want to be just like you.
Seriously I long to be the mom who isn't telling their kids they will fall and kill themselves. Your kids get such a rich exposure to nature so often. I'm jealous of the zen nature I'm sure you must possess. Awesome pics:-)
heh, thank you, Kathy.
I think reading The Continuum Concept when Cees was a baby, convinced me that children often are more capable than we give them credit for.
And maybe I am just a lazy parent ^^. If they fall, they usually just pick themselves up and are more careful next time.

I read that book, when I was pregnant with Jack. It was great. It did reafirm many things I've always practiced like co-sleeping and breastfeeding etc., but it was a little late I guess....for the rest...lol. The paranoia was already programmed by then. I've gotten a tiny bit better over the years, like I don't hover behind them on the steps of the slide, like I did with number one, but still I get annoyed with myself for my overprotection, or I should say overparanoia.
