Happy New Year!
Today is the first day of the lunar new year. Yesterday, we did a small celebration at go club. I brought dumplings and spring rolls (shamefacedly admitting that they were store bought, not homemade), and my friend brought sublime sweet rice cakes. We brought some other goodies and had a great time while studying go.
Today, we are going to visit good friends and have fun sledding on their hills. Good to spend the new year with friends, since all our family is so far away.
