A caterpillar! In New England! In January! Did I mention the weather has been weird? I feel he won't have much chances once the weather changes.
Let's hope this rainbow was a good omen for him:
It was fading already when we spotted it, so didn't get a very good picture. About twenty minutes later, when it started raining, we did realize that this rainbow symbolized a rain storm for us.
I loved hiking in the rain and wind storm! Such a primal feeling.
