Husband for a Day
After our talk about Bob, the amazing guy who fixes anything, we started talking about the 'Husband for a Day' service, we sometimes see around time. One of those handyman type of guys.
Kate remarked 'The first time I saw that, I thought it was a dating service.' Followed by a sister's 'Me too!'
Someone else spoke up and wondered 'Why would he have that van though?'
Jane 'Well, that is easy! To put in all the men of course!'

To me "husband for a day" sounds like he's gonna stagger into the house drunk at 3:45 am, puke somewhere hard to clean, sleep until 3:45 pm, wake up in a foul mood, have a screaming tantrum, and then go out drinking and not be heard from again for the rest of the day.
